Long Branch, N.J. - One of New York's most celebrated gourmet traditions makes its way to the Jersey Shore as Ceriello's Fine Foods is set to open its doors at Pier Village, the new mixed-use community situated along the oceanfront in Long Branch, N.J.
Scheduled for a mid-February opening, Ceriello's Long Branch location will continue in the tradition of its fellow New York Metropolitan area establishments by offering a wide array of gourmet Italian specialties.
The new 2,500 square-foot store will be the tenth location to be opened by the Ceriellos since the original shop opened in 1973 on the North Shore of Long Island.
"Pier Village is a new and exciting community," notes Mr. Ceriello. "It's full of young people, couples, families and empty-nesters; all of whom are our target audience. We're really happy with the choice we made and we look forward to building a long-term relationship with the residents of Pier Village and the surrounding communities."
Visitors to Ceriello's will enjoy a wide offering of fresh packed sauces, prime meats, cheeses from around the world, fresh baked breads and specialty foods. Private Label products will include everything from salad dressings to anchovies, while also competing for space on the shelves will be such prestigious brands as Sapori, Baci, and Perugina.
Even those who don't cook are likely to become devotees once they glance at Ceriello's extensive catering menu. All of their delicious specialties, including a line of eight different types of fresh sausage and authentic Italian panini, are made daily onsite. "We make everything fresh, from our own recipes," says Mr. Ceriello. "You can really taste the difference."
Ceriello's Fine Foods joins an impressive list of restaurants, boutique shops and services that have already opened at Pier Village. The community features 100,000 square feet of retail space - 98% of which is already leased - as well as luxury rental residences.
The community's exciting list of retail boutiques include Aloha Grove Surf Shop, anna, Arrivèe, JontÈ Jewelers, Kidegories, LuLu Face & Body, Nirvana, Paws & Pose, Space Interiors, and The Stone Hut.

Residences at Pier Village include spacious studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts. The homes -- many with balconies and most with spectacular oceanfront views -- are available with monthly rents starting at $1,455 for one-bedroom designs and $2,075 for two-bedroom residences.
