NY Waterway Expands Ferry Service At Port Liberté Waterfront Community

JERSEY CITY, N.J. — New York Waterway has expanded its commuter ferry service between Manhattan and Port Liberté to offer continuous weekday and weekend routes throughout the day and into the evenings.

Passage from the luxury waterfront community's onsite ferry terminal will now include convenient weekday access to Pier 11 near Wall Street, as well as weekend service to the World Financial Center, and the West 38th St. terminal in mid-town via a transfer at Newport.

The weekday ferries will run every 40 minutes during rush hour and every hour during off-peak times. The weekend ferries will run hourly.

"The expanded service is an invaluable asset to our residents, most of whom commute to Manhattan for both employment and to enjoy its numerous recreational and cultural pursuits," notes David Barry, President of Applied Development Company, Port Liberté's developer.

Applied is currently marketing The Townhomes at Port Liberté, a collection of 34 two- and three-story residences which is nearly sold out. Preconstruction prices start at $559,000 for three-bedroom townhomes, $775,000 for three-bedroom-plus-loft townhomes and $1,295,000 for select four-bedroom townhomes with 180 degree views of the river and Statue of Liberty.

To visit Port Liberté, take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 14B. Immediately after paying the toll, bear left towards the stop sign. Make your first right at the traffic light onto Caven Point Road. Proceed approximately one mile to Chapel Avenue and make a left. Follow signs to the sales center.
